You will embed a culture built on compassion, respect and equity, working closely with the CEO and Executive Team to attract, develop and retain talented people who share our mission to improve mental health outcomes for all.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of staff wellbeing and mental health programmes, ensuring proactive, preventative support for all employees and volunteers.Champion equality, diversity and inclusion, ensuring our organisation reflects the vibrant communities we serve.Foster a compassionate, open culture where people feel safe to be themselves, share ideas and learn.Oversee HR operations including policies, benefits, payroll and compliance, ensuring all processes reflect fairness, equity and best practice in the charity sector.Drive organisational learning and leadership development, building resilience and emotional intelligence across teams.Partner with leaders to embed trauma‑informed and person‑centred practices that sustain a healthy, inclusive workplace.What We Are Looking ForProven senior HR / People leadership experience – ideally within the charity or not‑for‑profit sector.Degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration or related field.Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualification (Level 7 or equivalent experience).Deep understanding of EDI, wellbeing and mental health, trauma‑informed practice and psychological safety in the workplace.Strong strategic and operational HR expertise, with the ability to translate vision into action.A collaborative leadership style that inspires trust, openness and inclusion.Why Join UsBy joining Norfolk and Waveney Mind you become part of a mission that truly matters.
