We have exciting opportunities for Director-level Project Controls professionals to deliver across major infrastructure projects and programmes in the UK. Suitable candidates should have proven experience in sectors such as rail, aviation, power, water/utilities, highways or defence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver project controls services, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery on large, complex and mega projects.
- Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs to improve project performance.
- Lead and manage multiple project controls functions including risk management, schedule management, cost management, and change control.
- Influence and guide senior stakeholders to improve performance.
- Act as the day-to-day project team interface to ensure client objectives are met and projects are delivered within time, cost, and quality targets.
- Contribute to technical services delivery, supporting the centre of excellence in developing and implementing the PMO project controls service.
- Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality standards, on time and within budget.
- Ensure project controls delivery aligns with the clients objectives and the conditions of appointment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant technical degree and management qualifications; experience in project control roles for development and/or delivery of construction projects.
- Experience in planning & scheduling and cost management.
- Experience in risk management, change control information management and reporting on complex projects, and integration of these functions.
- Ability to manage and mentor a team of specialists, enabling training and development for junior staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
