Finance Director | Nottingham

I’m working with a purpose‑led financial services business in Nottingham to appoint a Finance Director who will play a key role in shaping the company’s future.

As Finance Director, you’ll work closely with the CEO and senior team to lead the financial strategy, ensuring it supports both business growth and positive customer outcomes. You’ll combine strategic vision with hands‑on leadership, influencing across finance, operations, IT, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the financial strategy, aligning it with long‑term business goals.
• Oversee all financial operations, reporting, and compliance.
• Partner across the business to improve performance, efficiency, and outcomes.
• Provide clear, data‑driven insights to support decision‑making.
• Build and inspire a high‑performing, values‑led finance team.
• Represent the business confidently with the Board, shareholders, and regulators.

About You

• Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with proven senior leadership experience.
• Commercially astute, strategically minded, and calm under pressure.
• Strong communicator and influencer who can build trusted relationships.
• Values‑driven, collaborative, and motivated by making a meaningful impact.
