Pratap Partnership is working exclusively with a dynamic and acquisitive organisation based in York to recruit an Interim Finance Director for six months.This is a great opportunity for an experienced and commercially astute finance professional to make an impact by owning a high-profile project at a pivotal time in the company's growth journey. The opportunity As Interim Finance Director, you will play a key leadership role in reshaping the reporting and management information structure of the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, you will: Redefine and standardise the accounts and reporting framework. Develop and implement best-in-class MI that supports informed decision-making. Quickly build a deep understanding of the business, its operational complexities, systems, and processes, so that you can make insightful recommendations. Mentor and support the wider finance team through the transition process. Key requirements To succeed in this role, you will bring: Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a complex, fast-paced organisation. A strong background in financial reporting and the transformation of systems and processes Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to challenge and lead change.
