With a culture rooted in creativity, data-driven decision making, and client partnership, we are looking for a Paid Media Account Director to join our senior team and lead on some of our flagship retail accounts.

The Role

As Paid Media Account Director, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction across multi-channel paid campaigns (PPC, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic) and leading a talented team to deliver best-in-class performance for our retail clients. You’ll act as the senior point of contact for clients, ensuring campaigns are both commercially effective and aligned with wider business goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead client relationships at director level, becoming a trusted strategic partner.
  • Develop and deliver paid media strategies across PPC, Paid Social, Display, and emerging retail channels.
  • Oversee campaign planning, execution, optimisation, and reporting, ensuring KPIs and ROI targets are met.
  • Line manage, mentor, and inspire a team of account managers and executives, fostering career growth.
  • Collaborate with the analytics and creative teams to drive integrated, insight-led campaigns.
  • Keep up-to-date with retail and e-commerce trends, proactively advising clients on innovation and growth opportunities.
  • Manage budgets, forecast performance, and ensure profitable account growth.
  • Represent the agency at industry events, pitches, and client meetings.


About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in paid media, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Strong knowledge of retail/e-commerce media strategies and seasonal trading dynamics.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful campaigns across PPC, Paid Social, and Display.
  • Excellent client servicing skills – able to build senior stakeholder trust and lead C-suite conversations.
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable with data and able to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Inspirational leader with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Commercially astute, confident managing budgets and driving account profitability.
