OverviewAssociate / Associate Director - Structures - Energy role at WSP. Based in either our Newcastle or Teesside office. You will be part of the Building Structures team, accountable for project management, technical leadership and delivery of schemes from inception through to handover to the client.What You Will DoDevelop innovative and sustainable designs from concept, for a range of projects including transportation hubs, tall towers, healthcare, defence and education schemes, all with national and local architects.Take a key leadership role in managing multi-disciplinary design projects from concept through to detailed design, coordinating with Architects, Engineers and specialist consultants.Contribute to ongoing success and help build the delivery of a growing order book.Lead multi-disciplinary design projects and provide bespoke structural solutions for architectural-led concept designs.Form strong working relationships with other WSP disciplines, external design consultants, stakeholders and clients.Provide sustainable development solutions from site selection through to detailed design and construction, including guidance on net zero carbon, MMC & DfMA.Work on high profile major multi-disciplinary development projects across sectors including Transportation, High-rise, Commercial & Mixed use, Retail, Education and Healthcare, with recent wins in the Defence sector.Your TeamYou will join a diverse and talented team that collaborates to deliver on large projects and provide bespoke structural solutions.What We Will Be Looking For You To DemonstrateA proven track record of successful design delivery, ideally in major projects and early concept design stages.Project management and technical delivery leadership experience on medium to large schemes.Excellent interpersonal skills with leadership potential and the ability to communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders and clients.Chartered (MIStructE/MICE).Significant experience in the commercial and technical management of projects using appropriate tools.Significant experience in team management and day-to-day operations.Significant experience as lead client contact for consultancy services and the ability to foster excellent client relationships.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesProfessional Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
