Maggie\'s Centres is dedicated to providing free, expert support to people affected by cancer. Our ambition is to be there for everyone with cancer in the UK, at all 60 cancer centre sites, to help people living with cancer access the best possible quality of life.

We are seeking a transformational Fundraising Director who will be a visionary and dynamic leader with a distinguished track record of transforming income generation strategies and delivering sustained, long-term growth. The ideal candidate will be recognised for their innovative and forward-thinking approach to philanthropy, combining entrepreneurial flair with strategic and operational excellence to unlock new opportunities and drive meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and transform income generation strategies to deliver sustained, long-term growth in philanthropic giving and supporters’ engagement.
  • Define and execute an ambitious fundraising strategy that multiplies income across multiple channels while ensuring high impact and value for supporters.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership, building a high-performing fundraising team and partner ecosystem.
  • Respond quickly to opportunities and challenges, maintaining quality and impact in all activities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align fundraising with Maggie\'s Centres\' mission and five-year plan (2023–2027).
