ABOUT THE ROLE

I’m seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and oversee the operational functions of our commercial fit-out business. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion, driving efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction.

You will manage and mentor a dynamic team, oversee budgets and resources, and implement strategies to streamline processes while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, you will foster strong relationships and resolve escalated issues. This role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in project delivery, team leadership, and operational excellence in the construction or fit-out sector.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in an operations leadership role within the commercial fit-out or construction industry.
  • Strong track record in managing large-scale projects, including budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on performance and accountability.
  • Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management abilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in budget control and optimizing profitability.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement operational plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Skilled in identifying and mitigating operational risks effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, teams, and senior leadership.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field (preferred).
