Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Sales, EMEA to lead and expand our sales efforts across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales initiatives, and building a high-performance sales organization aligned with company goals. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in complex B2B sales, team leadership, and an ability to execute go-to-market strategies across diverse international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage the EMEA sales team to meet and exceed regional revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with overall corporate objectives.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion across the EMEA region.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyse regional sales performance, pipeline metrics, and market trends to inform strategy and forecast revenue accurately.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Global Sales Leadership to align on go-to-market initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies in all regional sales activities.
  • Continuously assess team performance, hiring needs, and territory coverage to optimize regional effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing regional or international teams.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in complex, solution-based sales environments.
  • Strong experience in the EMEA market with a deep understanding of regional nuances, customer behaviors, and business practices.
  • Background in sectors such as life sciences, healthcare, research tools, or biopharma preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and the ability to operate both at a high level and in the detail when needed.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
